The Common Types of Filters Used For Water Filtering

A water filtration bottle is a portable way to ensure safe drinking water. Generally, filtration removes any debris from the water to make it safe for consumption.

Among the methods of water bottle filter carbon filtration, micro-filtration fabric, and ultraviolet (UV) light filtration are the most commonly used. For complete information about the UV light water bottle, you may visit https://thecrazycap.com/products/crazycap-bottle.

Carbon activated filtration draw impurities out of the water. Typically, activated carbon is a positive charge and attracts negatively charged impurities out of the water. Carbon filtration tends to remove chlorine, sediments and volatile organic compounds (VOC). This is one of the oldest water filtration methods known to man.

Micro-filtration fabric fiber builds a filter of a very small measuring less than one denier per fiber. A denier is a measurement used for fiber sizes. By forcing water through micro-fabric, contaminants are removed and left in the micro-fabric.

A micro-fabric can be coated with some kind of chemicals to attract additional dirt filter. Micro-filtration fabrics can last at least for 5 years, due to the filtering effect of micro-fabric and the amount of dirt that passes through it.

UV water filtration makes biological dirt neutral by making them unable to reproduce through UV radiation. However, with exposure to the visible light spectrum, the reactivation of dirt may take place from time to time.

Among other types of ceramic filter water filtration, distillation, and reverse osmosis are also used. Many more methods of water filtration have been engineered, but it is not widely used.
